Herzlich willkommen auf meinem Blog! Da man über das Thema "Reiten mit Kopftuch" nur sehr wenig findet, möchte ich hiermit dazu beitragen, diese Lücke zu schließen. Auch hoffe ich, dass ich nicht die einzige reitende Muslima bin und dass ich durch diesen Blog viele Schwestern anspreche die selbst reiten oder es gerne tun würden. Selbstverständlich richtet sich dieser Blog ebenfalls an interessierte Nicht-Muslime, die mehr über das Thema wissen möchten. 
Nun mag man sich denken "Reiter ist Reiter, ob mit oder ohne Kopftuch", aber ganz so einfach ist die Sache dann doch nicht. 

Welcome to my blog! Since there is very little on the subject of "riding with a headscarf" to find in the internet, I would like to contribute to closing this gap. I also hope that I am not the only riding muslim woman and that - through this blog - I can address many sisters who ride themselves or would like to do horse riding. Of course, this blog is also aimed at interested non-Muslims who want to know more about this topic.
Now one might think "a rider is a rider, whether with or without a headscarf", but it is not that simple.




Ich selbst reite schon sehr lange und habe ein eigenes Pferd und seit ich vor einigen Jahren zum Islam konvertiert bin, reite ich auch (fast) ohne Probleme mit Kopftuch und Rock. Es ist schon eine kleine Herausforderung, sich so zu kleiden, dass man nicht gleich beim ersten Galopp dem weggeflogenem Kopftuch hinterherjagt während man den zerzausten Pferdeschwanz wieder in einen Dutt quetscht und mit dem Kleid im Steigbügel hängen bleibt...
Damit das NICHT passiert, möchte ich hier einige Tipps und Anregungen geben zur richtigen Bekleidung beim Reiten, Pferden, Herausforderungen für Muslime im Reitstall oder beim Reiten, und ich möchte bekannte Klischees und Missverständnisse aus dem Weg räumen. 

I myself have been riding for a very long time and have my own horse. Since I converted to Islam a few years ago, I am also riding almost without problems with headscarf and a skirt. It is a little kind of challenge to dress in such a way that you don't chase after your headscarf that flew away at the first gallop while pushing the dishevelled ponytail back into a bun... while your dress is getting sticked in the stirrup leathers.
To make sure that this does NOT going to happen, I would like to give some tips and suggestions for the right clothing when riding. I also talk about horses, challenges for Muslims in the riding stable or while riding, and I would like to explain famous misunderstandings and to do away with stereotypes.

Ich überarbeite regelmäßig meine alten und aktuellen Blogeinträge und schreibe Dinge neu oder füge neue Fotos hinzu. Es lohnt sich also, ab und zu in einen älteren Artikel reinzuschauen. 
Wichtig: Die Personen und Pferde auf den Fotos allgemein in diesem Blog sind nicht zwangsläufig meine eigenen, sondern können aus Google Bilder, Youtube oder Pinterest entnommen worden sein und wurden zum Teil von mir bearbeitet. Falls sich irgendjemand in seinen Rechten hierdurch verletzt fühlt, trotz Unkenntlichmachen der Gesichter, bitte ich, dies mir über email mitzuteilen.
Für die englische Übersetzung nehme ich teilweise Hilfe von Linguee, Google und Deepl Übersetzer. Ich mache nicht einfach Copy Paste sondern suche mir meine eigenen Vokabeln und Begriffe raus, um die Texte zu überarbeiten :-)

I regularly revise my old and current blog entries and write things new or add other photos. So it is worth looking into an older article from time to time.
Important to know: The people and horses in the photos in general in this blog are not necessarily my own, but may have been taken from Google Images, Youtube or Pinterest and were partly edited by me. If anyone feels that his rights have been violated, despite the blurring of their faces, please let me know and write me an email.
For the English translation, I take some help from Linguee, Google and Deepl translators. I'm not just doing copy paste, I'm of course looking for my own vocabulary and phrases to edit the texts :-)
